Wyndham Estate is located in the Hunter Valley in New South Wales, Australia. It is a two hour drive North of Sydney.
This historic Hunter Valley winery houses the Wyndham Estate Cellar Door and a relaxed cafe barbecue and picnic facilities on the banks of the Hunter River, as well as private function rooms.
Australia's oldest continually operating winery, and the only winery situated on the banks of the beautiful Hunter River, the site itself is of great significance to the Australian wine industry and the home of one of Australian winemaking's founding fathers, George Wyndham. In order to highlight this they have most recently opened a heritage trail that meanders throughout the property.
They are open 7 days a week for tastings, bus groups and visitors, with operating hours being 9.30am - 4.30pm.
