It is probably the warmest site in this cool climate region and has the capacity to consistently ripen fruit. The elevation is 470m above sea level at Latitude 37 deg 12 min S and Longitude 144 deg 24 min E. Tarrangower Estate overlooks the Coliban River valley, the Metcalfe State Forrest and has spectacular views of Mount Alexander and Mount Macedon.
