Summerfield is a family owned business located in the Pyrenees wine district of Australia, in the heart of regional Victoria.
The Summerfield family has been growing grapes, attending personally to their own vineyard and transforming the fruit into deep, hearty, bold reds for over 30 years. Their complete commitment to the grapes and to producing a special, memorable red wine has led to Summerfield winery being revered by red lovers and has resulted in many trophies, medals and awards.
Syan is the international label for Summerfield Wines. It was developed by the Summerfield family as labeling laws restricted the use of the Summerfield label due to ownership of the name by Golden State Vintners (USA).
Syan is the acronym for Summerfield whY Another Name.
