Plunkett Fowles vineyard is situated at Avenel in the rugged Strathbogie Ranges, in the Goulburn Murray waters wine region of Central Victoria.
The Plunkett Fowles cellar door is home to their fine wine and fresh produce. Surrounded by vines and overlooking the rugged Strathbogie Ranges, the cellar door offers the perfect ambience for enjoying carefully selected wine and food pairings.The vineyards view the striking, ancient granite massif that rises to over 700 metres above sea level, surrounded by dramatic granite outcrops scattered across ancient highlands.
In addition to what they grow in their organic vegie patch, and the bread and other goodies they bake themselves, they source the best local produce to create appetizing antipasti, charcuterie and main plates. The Plunkett Fowles Mediterranean courtyard offers secluded alfresco dining and a safe children’s playground and is the perfect summer location for live music, farmers markets and long lazy afternoons.
Plunkett Fowles is open seven days a week, 9am - 5pm.
