Located in the heart of the Barossa Valley, north of Adelaide is the Penfolds Barossa Valley Winery and Cellar Door. Built in 1911 to expand the business home base beyond Magill this site became the focal point of Penfolds winemaking in the 1970s, as more and more fruit was sourced from the Barossa and Clare Valley.
Today the cellar door offers a comprehensive selection of wines for tasting, just a stone's throw from the cellars where Peter Gago and his wine making team work through the year to ferment and mature Penfolds world famous wines. Their flagship wine is Grange.
