At Main Ridge Estate the first vintage in 1980 was processed in the newly constructed winery, the first commercial winery to be established on the Mornington Peninsula. Owners Nat and Rosalie White planted their vineyards, amongst the apple and other fruit orchards on the Peninsula, inspired by the wines tasted on trips to Europe.
Some of the finest wines on the Mornington Peninsula, the wines are distributed by mail order and to selected restaurants throughout Australia. Small quantities are exported to Britain and Singapore.
The cellar door is open daily for tasting and sales 12pm - 4pm midweek and 12pm - 5pm weekends.
Sunday lunch is served throughout the year. The menu is a la carte focusing on local specialties and produce from the Estate's extensive organic garden.
