Laughing Jack Wines is located near the small town of Greenock in South Australia's Barossa Valley,
The vineyard is part of the Kalleske family's property which has been farmed by the same family since 1855. It gets its name from the the families of kookaburras (nicknamed laughing jacks) who live in the Blue and Red gum trees which surround the vineyard.
Laughing Jack Shiraz is produced from wines from the three vineyards on the property with the grapes hand-picked at their peak to produce a rich, 100% Barossa Shiraz .
