Fraser Gallop Estate vineyard is located in Wilyabrup, in the iconic Margaret River wine district, south of Perth in Western Australia.
Fraser Gallop Estate was established by Nigel Gallop and Heather Fraser in 1998. They meticulously sought new ground in which to plant vines chosen especially for the rich, gravelly loams of the Wilyabrup terrior. The wonderful characteristics of the Wilyabrup Region are reflected in the wine's intense fruit flavours, balanced with the very best winemaking techniques using new French Oak barriques.
When you open a bottle of Fraser Gallop Estate's exceptional cabernet sauvignon, the aroma, colour and taste makes a statement about the growing conditions, location, the soil, climate along with the singular committment to quality in the winemaking process.
Fraser Gallop Estate offers superb Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay at very affordable prices - prices normally reserved for wine of much lesser quality.
The first Fraser Gallop Estate Cabernet Sauvignon was produced in 2002 and in 2004, the first Chardonnay.
Keith Mugford, one of Western Australia's superior winemakers, supervises production. Fraser Gallop Estate - definitely worth a taste, and if at all possible - drop in talk and do the tasting at the vineyard itself.
