Domaine A / Stoney Vineyard, an icon of the Tasmanian wine industry, is located 1/2 hour drive from Hobart, in Campania in the heart of the Coal River Valley wine district of Southern Tasmania.
It was the first in the now renowned Coal River Valley, originally established by George Park in 1973 and now owned by Ruth and Peter Althaus.
The fruit is fully ripened before being hand-packed during the cool days of Autumn to produce their cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir and sauvingnon blanc. Excellent wines for savouring now or mid-term cellaring are produced under the Stoney Vineyard label. Wines featuring the Domaine A label are the very best from the vineyard.
