Seven Sheds Brewery, Meadery and Hop Garden is located at Railton in Tasmania's North West.
Opened in May 2008, Seven Sheds is owned and operated by well-known beer industry commentator and author, Willie Simpson and Catherine Stark. Willie is also a prize-winning home brewer and mead maker and in 2006 wrote The Beer Bible.
Seven Sheds grows its own hops organically on-site and and uses local honeys for their mead and where possible local malts to produce Kentish Ale, Melomel (fruit-infused dry mead) and a traditional Dry Mead.
The cellar door has a purpose-built tasting room and brewery tours are available by appointment.
