Moo Brew is a state-of-the-art micro-brewery at Moorilla Estate, just 15 minutes from the centre of Hobart in Southern Tasmania.
Moo Brew produces beer according to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516 which rules that beer must only contain malt, hops, yeast and water. Their beers are also free of preservatives and additives.
The range of beers includes an American Pale Ale; an American Dark Ale; a German-style cloudy wheat beer; and a Pilsner - all with the distinctive Moo Brew label.
The beers are available on tap in selected establishments and in bottles, shipped cold because Moo Brew contains no preservatives and is not pasteurised.
Moorilla's brewer, Owen Johnston, will also brew a range of seasonal beers using local fruit.
