Need a holiday? Short on time?

Make the most of your quick break and enjoy two days of golf, wine and spas, minutes drive from one another and only 90 minutes from the centre of Melbourne.

Day One:

Peppers Moonah Links
Peppers Moonah Links is one of Australia’s most unique leisure resorts encompassing not one but two championship 18 hole golf courses, a restaurant, day spa and luxurious accommodation. The sense of space and serenity as you turn into the long curving driveway, immediately begins to revive even the most jaded of city souls.

After checking in, make yourself at home in one of the resort’s well appointed suites, many with views over the world famous Moonah course – you may only have time for a quick break, but here you have all the time in the world.

After a quick lunch in the Spike Bar, grab a motorized golf cart and hit the green on either of the two championship golf courses. The spirits of the many past champions who have played here over the years are sure to inspire a topnotch performance.

For dinner that evening, we suggest Pebbles, Peppers renowned restaurant. With no need to drive, this is the perfect opportunity to try a local pinot noir, pinot gris or chardonnay - varieties the region is famous for. Try The Cups Estate range if you have the opportunity. The vineyards are adjacent to Peppers Moonah Links and the sandy soils over limestone reefs create a delicate elegance in the wines.

As a VisitVineyards.com Member, you are invited to take advantage of an exclusive ‘Stay & Play’ package.

Day Two:

Peninsula Hot Springs
After a sumptuous buffet breakfast at Peppers, take a short drive to the nearby Peninsula Hot Springs. Ensure you book in advance though as the Hot Springs are becoming increasingly popular with tourists and locals alike and are often booked out in advance.

In late 2009, the Hot Springs officially opened their extended hot springs, gardens, private pools and more to the public. Wonderful in Winter and Summer alike, a visit to the Peninsula Hot Springs is not to be missed!

VisitVineyards.com Members who book an indulgent spa treatment and private mineral bath will receive complimentary access to the thermal pools. There is nothing quite like the experience of sitting outside in these thermal pools which are set in amongst indigenous Melaleuca trees. Here you can sit back and simply watch the clouds drift overhead while listening to the chatter of native birds as they flitter in and out of the trees.

Open daily from 9am to 9pm.

Nazaaray Estate

One of the Peninsula's best kept secrets, Nazaaray Estate Winery is a micro boutique winery located near Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula. Owned by the delightful Paramdeep and Nirmal Ghumman, Nazaaray in Indian translates to 'beautiful visions', the kind sometimes seen after having a few glasses of good wine!

Only open the first weekend of each month, Nazaaray is well worth a visit for the wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and award winning Pinot Noirs and Pinot Gris.

Open the first weekend of every month (12 - 5pm) or by appointment.

Noel's Restaurant and The Local Collection
By this point in the weekend, you should be feeling rather relaxed and rejuvenated, however we suggest one final stop before you begin the drive home - Noel's Restaurant and The Local Collection, in Red Hill. Don’t be put off by the somewhat shabby exterior, this hidden gem is home to a wonderful restaurant and a cellar door like no other on the Peninsula.

The ‘cellar door’ is manned in a rota system by the various winemakers and friends so there is always someone interesting and qualified to have a chat to. The casual and friendly Noel’s Restaurant, with a large deck and views over Red Hill use only the freshest local produce to create a range of European inspired dishes. (For those in the know, the restaurant is the new venture of the Tilley family, ex Peridot Lake Estate).

VisitVineyards.com Members receive a complimentary antipasto platter to whet your tastebuds and a tasting flight of wine to enjoy with your meal – the perfect way to end your short break!
