In the heart of the Mornington Peninsula is a magnificent lakeside estate, and only 60 minutes from downtown Melbourne. Woodman Estate is your complete destination to experience the treasures of Regional Victoria. This landmark property offers guests luxurious accommodation, acclaimed restaurant dining, an indulgent spa retreat and an abundance of facilities.

“…..A strong challenger for the best boutique hotel in regional Victoria……” Delicious Magazine / taste.com.au

Affectionately known as Woodmans, the Estate's restaurant is recommended by The Age Good Food Guide.

Dining at Woodman Estate provides many options. Enjoy intimate formal dining, the relaxed atmosphere of the elegant a la carte Brasserie or the newly completed lakeside terrace with amazing views of the spring-fed lake.

Gourmet food is the order of the day. The best in local and seasonal produce from the region is complemented by the Estate's extensive herb gardens. Service levels are everything you'd expect of a five star establishment, with the Estate's celmful of wines from the acclaimed Mornington Peninsula, other regions of Australia and overseas.

A welcome additional to the culinary ranks of the Mornington Peninsula is David Sarfaty. Born in Melbourne and raised north of the border in Sydney, David's rich background and training includes fine dining with Louis Loizia in Sydney, the art of regional Italian cuisine in St Kilda and Sydney and, of course, the Byron Bay experience of Japanese fusion with Eki Takagi. This eclectic mix of cooking influences and culture provides the solid foundation for simply outstanding modern Australian cuisine.

Aquaint yourself with Woodman Estate by enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner on the delightful new "terrace" overlooking the water or better still, savour the "famous" Sunday High Tea. Everybody's welcome!

High Tea on Sundays
Remember sitting by the fire, taking the time chat with friends and family, seemingly escaping the world, while indulging in culinary delights. Enjoy an elegant ritual from a bygone era!
Savour the finger sandwiches, jam and cream on fresh hot scones, luscious slices, decadent cakes and desserts, complete with tea and coffee. Of course, there's no need to save room for dinner!
Relax, indulge and treat yourself from 3.30pm every Sunday.

Bookings essential.
