Pelican Pantry is made up of students and full time employees that work together to provide friendly and knowledgeable services to the public as well as training in the fields of Hospitality, Tourism and getting the hands on learning that they need to get started in these industries.
Pelican Pantry is located on the Hastings Foreshore in the township of Hastings on the eastern side of the Mornington Peninsula - one of the most significant entry/gateway points to Western Port.
The growing numbers of youth related employment has seen Pelican Pantry become one of the Mornington Peninsula's training facilities for students and youths interested in working in the hospitality tourism industries and is working together with 18 partners representing 18 secondary colleges, 19 local education, employment, community service and training organisations to provide this much needed training.
The friendly nurturing environment, friendly customers and beautiful surroundings make the Pelican Pantry restaurant a meaningful and fulfilling working experience.
