The Diggers Seed Club at Dromana on the Mornington Peninsula now has a revamped restaurant. Given a makeover by George Biron, formerly of Sunnybrae at Birregurra, Heronswood Café is Australia's only thatched roof cafe.
The menu, crafted by chef Luke, changes daily, and is inspired by 'regional, seasonal and organic' - often picked that day from the garden - and of course includes cakes and coffee too good to resist.
