The Balgownie Estate & Cafe are located at Maiden Gully near the historic gold mining town of Bendigo, just 150km northwest of Victoria's capital city Melbourne.
The cafe/restaurant prides itself on the quality and creativity of its food. The chefs select only the freshest and best local produce to skillfully prepare menus that can truly be thought of as Australian. Influenced by French, Italian and Asian cuisines, dining at Balgownie Estate is exceptional... simple yet elegant dishes to tempt the taste buds.
Start the day with a hearty breakfast prepared by our chefs, and join us for lunch where the menu changes regularly to feature the best ingredients that the season has to offer.
These special flavours can be enjoyed with your selection from the list of fine Balgownie Estate wines.
The restaurant opens seven days a week, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Friday and Saturday evenings are accompanied by latin grooves & jazz from the Trio Brazil, or the Deco Duo with a combination of jazz, blues & originals. Relax and unwind in the romantic and soothing setting while overlooking the city lights.
