Enoteca Sileno was founded in 1953 and quickly established a reputation in Australia as an importer of fine Italian food and wine. Since then the business has grown and diversified and now has a retail showroom and restaurant where you can sample traditional regional foods and wine.

Enoteca Sileno has everything from preserved artichokes to squid ink to pasta to real Neapolitan baba al rum. Needless to say, if you need an ingredient for your Italian feast or just simply want to re-stock your pantry with pasta and carnaroli rice you can do it here with products of the very best quality.
We are proud to say that most Italian regions are represented in our wine portfolio, which encompasses over 400 wines. The extensive range is selected to showcase the individual regional styles and varietals. Beers are sourced from the best microbreweries and we also incorporate a large grappa and digestive selection.
Our accessories range from the hard-to-find such as the pasta chitarra (cutter) and polenta stirring machines to the best of the everyday. Deruta ceramics and some from Caltagirone in Sicily as well as those from Bison and Andrew Cope in Australia are useable works of art. Gnarled, dense olive wood pieces from Liguria are complemented by a range of beautifully simple boards from Pepperino that are made in a range of local timbers.
