In a world first, all the Barossa wines accorded a place in the latest Langston's Classification of Australian Wines V will be offered for tasting. Most are not available for tasting anywhere else and will be presented by their makers in a friendly, informal style with Andrew Calliard of Langton's.
The tasting will be accompanied by generous appetisers and followed by a superb three course dinner, matched with wines.
A special part of the evening will see the Barons, led by Stephen Henschke, welcome 3 new members to their fraternity in a colourful ceremony
The 2009 Barons of Barossa Shiraz contains parcels of fruit from contributing Barons including Bethany, Grant Burge, Elderton, John Duval, Wolf Blass, Glaetzer, Haan, St Hallett, Henschke, Irvine, Peter Lehmann, Charles Melton, Orlando and Yalumba and has very limited availability.
A night to mix with the nobility of the Barossa plus a special wine to take home to remember the evening by.
