Art is on the menu as well as wine and food for visitors to the Mornington Peninsula wine country during the first weekend in May.
The Mornington Peninsula's premier art show, Art Red Hill, opens on Friday 1 May and features more than 1000 works from regional and national artists. Paintings, sculpture, jewellery and wearable art will be on sale throughout the weekend. Visitors can browse the exhibits while sampling local wines sourced from Perry Lane, Red Hill Estate, Port Phillip Estate, Darling Park and Tuck's Ridge, and the opening night will feature ale from the Red Hill Brewery.
It's an ideal weekend to visit Red Hill, with the last of autumn's bounty on sale at the Red Hill Market on the morning of Saturday 2 May.
