The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) invites media representatives to attend the judging sessions of the Summer 2010 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show.
RAS Fine Food Committee Chair Lyndey Milan says that the Summer 2010 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show is set to be hotly contested this year, especially in the Bread, Cake and Pie Competition.
“Due to the large increase in entries received last year, we have expanded the Bread, Cake and Pie Competition in 2010 to span across two days of judging to meet the demand. The Competition will now include classes for friends, tortes/gateaux, mousse cake, banana cake, carrot cake, Christmas puddings, fruit loafs/logs, tarts, lavosh bread, sweet biscuits and vegetarian pies,” she said.
Winners will be able to advertise their medals on the packaging of their goods, making it easier for consumers to select these “best ofow” products at the supermarket and delicatessen.
WHEN: 17-26 February 2010
WHERE: Charles Room, Members Stand, Main Arena Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park
