'Gisborne Peak is a labour of love for Bob and Barbara Nixon. From small beginnings as a hobby block in 1978, it has grown into the impressive vineyard that spreads out before the wide verandas of the picturesque cellar door. Taste the very good Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, perhaps as an accompaniment to pizza from Gisborne Peak's wood-fired oven.' - Ralph Kyte-Powell

Boutique wines with al fresco foods. What could be better? Visit this boutique winery, try the award winning cool climate wines and enjoy a wood-fired pizza all in a most beautiful setting amongst the vines. Located only 35 minutes from Melbourne via the Calder freeway and 25 minutes from Melbourne Airport. Gisborne Peak Wines sells estate grown wines as well as full-bodied reds from warmer climates.

A large deck set over the water provides the perfect al-fresco setting for enjoying a glass of wine with some simple but delicious food available at the cellar door. Try a delicious wood-fired pizza available Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Taster's Platters to match the wines are available daily. An enclosed marquee area is the perfect venue for groups. The Fireside Room offers a warm fire in winter and open decking in summers. Gisborne Peak is a winery for all seasons.

Enquire about the 'Adopt-a-Vine' Program called MyVine. It's fun but educational too. A perfect gift for that wine-lover in your life. Call to enquire how you can adopt a vine today.

Featured wines include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Semillon, Sparkling Pinot Noir and their blended wine, 'Duet'. They also offer a semi-sweet wine, 'Allegro' and a muscat from the Rutherglen Region.
